Circuit tester showed open ground. A ground wire is bent back and attached to metal box but not outlet. Is this safe to use? 1975 house if that matters. : r/AskElectricians

Description
This outlet was installed with no ground lead but the tester showed it as grounded. Its was installed in a metal box with armored cable running to it if that helps (1949).
