New research about Art Frahm, celery & falling undies
By A Mystery Man Writer
Description
Art Frahm was an illustrator in the 1940s & 50s. One of his favorite themes was young women in distressed & helpless situations as their undies fell down to their ankles. Many illustrations featured women holding grocery bags that included celery. A number of people have theorized about this, beginning with the seminal work of James Lileks.
