This is a side (fan) lacing and front fastening (buttons) bra top based on the 1920's side lacing brassieres. Fan-lacing is used at the side to pull the brassiere to size. Note that this is not a supportive bra and if made small in the bust, could be used to flatten the bust in true flapper style! There is a standard (small) bust option (cup size A-C approx.) and an enhanced (medium) bust option (that equates with a D-DD cup size approximately however clients have had success with larger cup sizes). Adjust the bust seam for contouring at the toile stage. This pattern is available as an instant download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper making sure actual size and centre the print is ticked in your print dialogue box. All sixes are also supplied on a large format print (A0). As with all corset patterns, this pattern is not a beginners level sewing project. will send you a link to download the files - please check your junk folder if you nothing arrives. You can also log in to your account and download any digital files you have bought from there (hence better to create an account rather than purchase as a guest). It is recommended that you make a toile to check the fit of the pattern and use the side seam and bust seam to tweak the fit. Please remember that this pattern can't be used for commercial profit (such as a line of ready to wear corsets) - use to your hearts content, but only for yourself and clients!
